Packing List Suggestions....
The following list is first off all incomplete, and is under construction along with most of the site, and secondly is only a recommendation list to help you not to forget any essentials. The list should also help you to shop for your necessary items, and serve as a packing list guideline:
Food and Water:
1. Bow (either crossbow or compound bow)
2. Arrows & spare tips
#3. Fishing string, hooks, and weights
#4. A durable knife (like a buck knife)
5. A GOOD water filter is strongly recommended.
Shelter & Navigation
#1. A tent (2 man pup tents are ok, but hardly big enough for 1!)
#2. lots of string (for tie downs, and stringing lean to's together)
#3. A good compass (having 2 is a good idea- get a backup)
4. Machete (for making your way through thicket)
#5. 550 Para cord (you cannot have too much of this stuff in the woods!)
Fire
#1. Matches
#2. Lighters
#3. Flint AND Magnesium (fire is important)
You should notice that some items listed have a "#" in front of the number. This indicates items that should be prioritized for everyone going. The other items are good to have, but not absolutely essential for EVERYONE to carry.
